Béatrice Kahl is a German jazz pianist born in 1972 in Hannover who also plays keyboards and Hammond organ. She comes from a musician family and performed in her father's combo at age twelve. After studying music at the University of Hildesheim, she has worked as a freelance musician since 1999. Her musical home is soul-jazz. With her trio b.groovy, Béatrice Kahl presents a piano trio that combines influences from jazz, pop, Latin, and soul and rearranges well-known pop classics.

Kahl performs regularly live and has also played internationally, including in the USA, Switzerland, France, and in spring 2023 at a festival in Mumbai (India). Since 2018, she has held a teaching position for piano at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg and directs the FAU JAZZ-Ensemble.
