Getting read for Jazzahead

It’s Sunday night, just before midnight, the coffee has long gone cold—and yet the energy is still there. Because here at Jazz Palace, preparations for the Jazzahead trade fair in Bremen are in full swing. Just under two weeks to go, and then it’s happening!
Together with Jazzbüro Hamburg, we’ll be present at the fair under the banner of Jazz City Hamburg—and I’m really looking forward to meeting many of you there in person. A huge thank-you at this point to the team at Jazzbüro, who are putting their heart and soul into the fair preparations!
Connecting the scene – the organizers’ network is growingAlongside the fair planning, a lot more is happening: for several months now, I’ve been working intensively on building a nationwide overview of jazz concert organizers in Germany. And the response has been overwhelming!
More than 300 organizations have been contacted—and by now, over 80 clubs and associations have gotten back to us to take part in this project. The feedback has been consistently positive: “Great project—we’re in!”
Our goal at Jazzahead is to win over even more supporters and collaborators. Because each of these organizations is a key node in the German jazz network—places where artists, organizers, and audiences come together and keep the scene alive.
Our new features in Jazz PalaceTo make these organizers even more visible in the future, we’re currently working on a new section within Jazz Palace: a dedicated detail page for concert organizers. This page is a first major step toward greater transparency and visibility in the jazz scene. Our long-term goal is ambitious, but clearly defined:
Connecting 100 clubs, 1,000 artists, and 10,000 fans on one single platform.
This is how we’re building a strong, digital network for the German jazz community.
Stay tuned—and come to Jazzahead! If you’re coming to Jazzahead in Bremen, I’m really looking forward to seeing you, talking with you, exchanging ideas—and shaping the future of jazz together.
