Hey! If you’re wondering where you’ve landed and what this new platform is all about, you’re in exactly the right place. My name is Julius Wittekind, founder of the project and—of course—a passionate fan of jazz. And by that I don’t just mean the music, but also the creative musicians and the shared experience of improvisation and live performance.

The jazz scene thrives thanks to a wide range of dedicated artists and supporters who work tirelessly every single day to bring jazz to the stage. Across the country, new jazz clubs, associations, and talents are emerging from these creative efforts, creating fresh concert experiences. At Jazz Palace, our goal is to put exactly this work in the spotlight—and in doing so, inspire even more people to fall in love with jazz.

We’ve chosen to place concerts and events at the heart of Jazz Palace, because they are the true meeting places for artists, organizers, and listeners alike.

With the public Jazz Palace Magazine, we want to offer a central source of information that provides comprehensive insights into the world of concerts, artists, clubs, and organizers throughout the German-speaking region. It will, for example, make it quick and easy to find events nearby or discover new artists.

By building the Jazz Palace online community, we aim to create a bridge between creative minds and their audience. The community offers space for dialogue, encourages collaboration, and creates opportunities for innovation and creative expression. We don’t just want to inform—we also want to inspire new events through helpful features and provide hands-on support for planning and organization.

Users will be able to create individual profiles that allow them to connect with other jazz fans, promote their own events, or simply share their latest musical discoveries.

A special focus is on supporting local jazz associations and clubs, which often form the backbone of the scene. They can maintain their own event pages, announce upcoming gigs, sell tickets, and collect feedback from visitors. For artists, we offer dedicated tools that allow them to share their music directly on the platform and receive feedback from fans and fellow musicians.
