The International Trio with Thomas l'Etienne (clarinet), Harry Kanters (piano), Trevor Richards (drums), and as special guest the incomparable Olivier Franc from Paris, entertains the audience as always at the highest level. The musicians have internalized classical jazz and find the highest recognition with their style and interpretation. Thomas l'Etienne presents this music not nostalgically, but fresh and in the present day. Trevor Richards is a student of Zutty Singleton, the drummer of Louis Armstrong. Harry Kanters from Holland is a master of the demanding stride piano style. Olivier Franc is a world-renowned and sought-after soloist in the Bechet style and recipient of the Prix Sidney Bechet.
