Jazz Magic Night 2
Following the captivating opening of the first Jazz Magic Night, the series continues to the next round: On Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 7:30 p.m., the French Church Potsdam transforms into a place of musical magic. The two exceptional musicians Alexej Wagner (guitar) and Andrej Lakisov (saxophone, guitar, piano) meet on stage in a lively, energetic dialogue between jazz, classical, world music, and pop. Sometimes delicate, sometimes passionate – always surprising.
Alexej Wagner, born in Barnaul (Siberia), discovered his love for the guitar at the age of ten. As a classical talent, he won competitions in Novosibirsk, worked with philharmonic orchestras and for television. Later, he studied jazz/pop at the Hanns Eisler University of Music Berlin. His arrangements combine bossa nova, flamenco, salsa, and many other influences – in the Berlin scene, he is particularly known for his Latin projects. Andrej Lakisov is a German saxophonist who completed his studies and concert examination with distinction at the Hanns Eisler University of Music and at the University of the Arts Berlin. His repertoire includes works of classical music as well as jazz, swing, klezmer, Balkan, funk, and soul.
