Patricia Vonne is an American singer and actress, born on December 19, 1969. She is from San Antonio, Texas and is the sister of filmmaker Robert Rodriguez. She performs in the United States, Mexico, and Europe, including at the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland. Vonne is a popular live artist who has developed a distinctive multicultural Borderland Roots Rock style.
Her music was created in collaboration with renowned Texas musicians such as Alejandro Escovedo, Rosie Flores, and Johnny Reno. In 2020, she released the debut album "The Texicana Mamas" in collaboration with Tish Hinojosa and Stephanie Urbina Jones. In addition to her music career, she appeared in films such as "Sin City" (2005). The New York Times called her the "Renaissance Woman of Austin Texas".
