Ghost Funk Orchestra is the project of composer and multi-instrumentalist Seth Applebaum and has evolved from a home recording project into a live band. The ensemble combines soul, psychedelic rock, salsa, and other influences into a genre-spanning soundscape. The band has received recognition from NPR, Bandcamp, KUTX, and Brooklyn Vegan.

Ghost Funk Orchestra has performed with artists such as Os Mutantes, Grace Potter, and Marco Benevento and played at renowned festivals including the Montreal Jazz Festival and LEVITATION. The band is represented on the Colemine Records label.
