Brighter Days - Gospel Meets Big Band
Under the title "Brighter Days," the Children of Joy and the Hornblower Big Band present an extraordinary musical encounter in which two sonic worlds merge into a unique concert experience full of energy, emotion, and joy of life. The Hornblower Big Band from Esslingen, led by Stephan Wursthorn, is known for its rich big band sound and its specially arranged pieces with rousing brass sections, grooving rhythms, and solo highlights. The Children of Joy, a gospel choir of around 30 members from Leinfelden-Echterdingen, has been delighting audiences with their music for over 20 years. The program includes well-known songs such as Brighter Day, Shackles, and Ain't No Mountain High Enough – music full of energy and hope that goes straight to the heart.
