At the artistic center of the new project are two jazz musicians: Ukrainian pianist and composer Vladimir (Volodymyr) Prikhojai, who has lived in Hannover since the beginning of the Ukraine war, and Russian-born singer and composer Oxana Voytenko, graduate of the Jazz Institute at HMTMH. The two are no strangers to the jazz scene and have a good reputation in professional circles. Supported by three additional musician colleagues, they unleash their creative potential.

JAZZolution stands for the evolution of jazz. It is a constant, creative, dynamic, and barrier-free process in which various ensemble formats – from solo and duo to a combo – appear and bring fresh ideas from all participants to new compositions and musical decisions. It experiments, fuses, and breaks down the boundaries between different musical styles!

The program ranges from well-known jazz standards to original compositions by the participants, always at the highest artistic level and personal in its expression. Music from the musicians' countries of origin plays a special role (for example, Slavic melodies, Eastern European folklore).
