OBRADOVIC - Tixier Duo - JAZZ Experimental Concert

The Obradovic-Tixier Duo is a collaborative project of French pianist David Tixier and Croatian drummer Lada Obradovic. The duo was founded in 2016 in Bern, Switzerland and has performed in more than 30 countries worldwide throughout their career and recorded six albums since 2016. The sound combines acoustic instruments with electronic sounds, texts, polyrhythms and loops, mixed with sophisticated harmonies.

The duo received numerous national and international awards, including first prize at Jazz À Vienne 2018, Jazz Au Phare 2018, Colmar Jazz Festival 2018 and La Défense Jazz Festival 2019. Lada Obradovic is a Croatian jazz drummer and composer who, after completing her bachelor's degree at Akademie Graz in Austria, earned a master's degree in jazz drums at the University of Bern in Switzerland. David Tixier is a French pianist, arranger and composer who received his master's degree in jazz piano from Hochschule für Musik Lausanne in Switzerland in 2014.
