Exceptional artist Viktor Gernot and Austria's jazz ambassador Simone Kopmajer present an evening full of feeling, swing, and humor. The extraordinary duo goes on tour in 2026 with their first joint album under the title "Jazz On A Summer's Day". The program includes well-known songs such as "The Shadow of Your Smile", the duet "Baby, It's Cold Outside" and further musical surprises.

Simone Kopmajer is one of Austria's most internationally successful jazz singers, who captivates audiences around the world with her distinctive voice – from Europe to the USA to Asia. She interprets classics of the Great American Songbook in a lively and contemporary way as well as her own compositions and traditional melodies. Her versatility is evident in the effortless combination of jazz, soul, pop and folk music, without losing her authenticity. Viktor Gernot is one of the country's most versatile artists and has performed successfully for decades as a singer, actor, cabaret artist, entertainer and musician. His career ranges from musicals such as "Elisabeth" and "La Cage aux Folles" to award-winning cabaret programs and legendary jazz and swing concerts. With his characteristic baritone, fine wit and musical sensitivity, he shines in the interplay between entertainment, sophistication and improvisation.

The two soloists are accompanied by Kopmajer's outstanding band. After years of renovation work, the Riedl family presented Burg Taggenbrunn with a newly constructed concert hall in the covered castle courtyard in November 2019. Since then, the castle from the 12th century has provided an impressive backdrop for the Taggenbrunn Festival.
