"Bach goes Jazz" combines the elegance of Baroque compositions with the freedom of jazz and is part of the Freiberg Summer Nights, which take place from May 31 to August 30, 2026 at Schloss Freudenstein. The concert takes place on June 12, 2026 and offers an atmospheric evening under the open sky in the historic castle courtyard.

Schloss Freudenstein is a four-winged building from the 16th century and has housed two world-renowned collections since the end of 2008: the world's largest mineral exhibition terra mineralia and the Bergarchiv Freiberg. In summer, the castle courtyard becomes the cultural center of Freiberg with concerts, theater, parties, cinema, and public viewing.
