The BigBand of the Deutsche Oper Berlin presents thematic jazz concerts in its jazz series "Jazz & Lyrics" in the Tischlerei with members of the BigBand and guests in smaller formations. The concerts are dedicated to a specific theme or composer and fuse music with lyrics. Texts, biographical information and poetry as well as background information on the respective theme make these concerts a special experience.

The Tischlerei is a space for installations, piece developments, sound walks, late-night series and encounters of avant-garde, pop, rock, visual art and opera. The event takes place at Richard-Wagner-Straße, 10585 Berlin-Charlottenburg.
