Béatrice Kahl is a German jazz pianist who also plays keyboards and Hammond organ. The musician, trained as a jazz pianist at the University of Hildesheim, settled in Nuremberg in 2010. The Béatrice Kahl Trio presents a mix of new, grooving original compositions and fresh arrangements of well-known songs.

Due to her prior experience in many different areas of popular music, she quickly established herself in the German live and studio scene and enjoys performing "live" frequently with Santiano, Emma Lanford, Max Mutzke, Joja Wendt, Joo Kraus, Tony Lakatos, Reggie Worthy, Ron Ringwood, Daniel Messina, Tyndale Thomas, Siggy Davis, Nneka, Joan Faulkner, Charly Antolini, David A. Tobin, and Mola Adebisi. Since 2018, Béatrice Kahl has held a teaching position for piano at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nuremberg and directs the FAU JAZZ-Ensemble.

The program series "The Art of Jazz," a cooperation with Jazzstudio Nuremberg, is one of the oldest and arguably the most successful jazz event series in Germany. Since 1980, many of the greats of jazz, as well as discoveries and musical boundary-crossers, have performed at the Tafelhalle.
