For the 49th edition of "Jazz in der Burg," a diverse weekend is taking shape: Saturday evening features Jeff Cascaro, the Bad Mouse Orchestra, and the Fäzz Bigband. Sunday morning belongs to blues with The Delta Boys, Andreas Kümmert & The Electric Circus, and the Jimmy Reiter Band.

Singer Jeff Cascaro has developed his own sonic language between jazz, soul, and blues. His renowned fellow musicians support him with shimmering piano lines, swinging drum grooves, and earthy bass playing. The Bad Mouse Orchestra transports you to the swing era of the 1920s – not as a large orchestra, but as an intimate ensemble that brings to life the sound of living room concerts with shellac records, ukulele, and guitar. The repertoire encompasses jazz classics from the early 20th century, Charleston sound, and original ukulele arrangements by virtuoso Roy Smeck.
