For the 49th edition of "Jazz in der Burg," Jeff Cascaro, the Bad Mouse Orchestra, and the Fäzz Bigband will perform on Saturday evening. Jeff Cascaro is a German jazz and soul singer and trumpeter who won the Bundeswettbewerb Jugend jazzt at the age of 18 and has been working as a professional musician ever since. In recent years, he has popularized soul jazz in Germany like no one else.

The Bad Mouse Orchestra is a ukulele and guitar trio from Freiburg and Braunschweig that takes listeners back to the golden swing era. Their repertoire ranges from well-known standards from the 1920s to 1940s such as "I Can't Give You Anything but Love" and "Sweet Georgia Brown" to lesser-known or forgotten pieces from the last century. The FÄZZ-Bigband is composed of longtime companions from the bigband master's program at the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Frankfurt and plays exclusively original compositions by its members.
