Hasan Özgür Tuna Quartet

The quartet from Frankfurt was created on the initiative of drummer Hasan Özgür Tuna as a platform for artistic expression in the form of music. Music, played collectively with musicians who can think beyond what is given. At today's concert, both original compositions by Ulrike Schwarz and Hasan Özgür Tuna, as well as their arrangements of well-known jazz standards and lesser-known "non-standards" will be heard. A connection to jazz tradition is just as evident as a connection to experimental music – and yet everything is different.
