Bandleader Obi Jenne has united a highly virtuosic ensemble of jazz, blues, R&B, and soul musicians with the "All Star Band" Soul Diamonds since 2009. The band dedicates itself to the classics of Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Aretha Franklin, Prince, and James Brown – but combines these with contemporary titles to create their own sound. The intense, respectful collaboration of the musicians aims to captivate the audience with authentic soul, funk, and soul jazz from the 1960s to 1980s.
