Hot rhythms, driving bass grooves, and soul jazz in the style of the 1970s: Thomas Siffling has assembled a dream band for this evening, inspired by Freddy Hubbard's classic "A Soul Experiment". With Olaf Schönborn on saxophone and Bernhard Vanecek on trombone, the trumpeter has two longtime musical partners at his side. The rhythm section with Erwin Ditzner on drums and Dirk Blümlein on bass drives the grooves forward, while Werner Acker shapes the guitar and Thomas Bauser operates the Hammond organ. A musical fireworks display in Blue Note style that makes it hard to stay seated.
