Laurenz and Ida are the minimal version of their synthpop band munterfel, and as a duo they lean more toward British soul with a few gospel and jazz influences. With piano and voice, they translate feelings into sounds, thoughts into tones, and their shared humor into an audible wink. Their onomatopoetic research journey takes them and their listeners to a playground with a slide made of riffs, melancholically swaying chords, and a dynamic seesaw.
