Monday Night Session – Uni Jam with Opener: Taily
The Uni Jam is a joint format of the Hot Jazz Club and the Münster University of Music: MS POP students open the session as openers and invite everyone to improvise together.
Every Monday from 8 p.m., the stage of the Hot Jazz Club transforms into a meeting point for music enthusiasts who love to experiment. The "Monday Night Session" at the Hot Jazz Club is where bands are created that have never existed before. With changing session openers from the regional scene, almost anything is stylistically possible here—between jazz, blues, hip hop, groove music, or funk.
As part of the Uni Jam, the session is opened and led by students from the Münster University of Music. Opener of the April session: TAILY
How can we build community while the world around us becomes faster, louder, and more violent? What does human solidarity feel like nowadays? Can we be brave even when we are frustrated and afraid? All these questions and emotional states are reflected in Taily's English pop, which is expanded with experimental sounds. A range of content and style that welcomes all people.
Lineup: Taily (vocals), Florian Kranz (guitar), Lukas Daum (bass), Mattis Friske (drums)
Following Taily's set, the jam session begins. The ideal time to try things out and experiment or simply to listen or dance. We wish you lots of fun!
