Iga Osowska Trio – LOST IN JAZZ Partner Concert with Jazz Day Germany e.V.
Polish Jazz poetry
The Lübeck-based singer Iga Osowska (*1991) studied from 2011 to 2017 at the
Lübeck University of Music and gained popular vocal training, during which she collected numerous
stage, studio, and concert experiences in a wide variety of styles. During this
time she discovered her special love for jazz, which she then studied from 2017 to 2021 at the Hamburg University of Music and Theater with
Prof. Ken Norris.
In 2023, Iga Osowska won the prestigious Lübeck Jazz Prize as the first female recipient.
With a mix of traditional jazz standards with scat singing, as well as more modern jazz, she
regularly performs at concerts throughout Germany, such as at JazzBaltica
2025. A special feature of her program is the Polish-language pieces
Polish Jazz poetry, through which the singer reconnects with her Polish roots and wants to promote
cultural exchange between the two neighboring countries. Combining elements of jazz and
pop, Iga Osowska and her band create original compositions and arrangements into a
varied program with diverse cultural and musical influences.
