For this special concert, the HfMT Dance Band Ensemble invites renowned American trombonist Dan Barrett to create an unforgettable evening of swing music. Barrett not only played with many stars of the US jazz scene and recorded albums with them, but was also a member of Benny Goodman's Big Band in the 1980s, where he performed as a soloist and lead trombonist. He is accompanied by the brilliant stride pianist Jan-Hendrik Ehlers and HfMT dance band instructor and HfMT alumna Samantha Wright on clarinet.
