Werner Goos has been one of the technically most brilliant guitarists on the European jazz scene for years. The German guitarist was born in Hockenheim. Goos was part of the jazz-rock duo Fuchs-Goos-Band with drummer Joachim Fuchs and released the album Chameleon 2 in 1981.

The Werner Goos Trio presents predominantly unreleased compositions written by Goos, exploring those colors, rhythms, and harmonies that can only come about through the distinctive blend of these 3. The current lineup consists of Gerhard Moser on drums, who has earned an excellent reputation through driving grooves, and Bernhard "Heuvi" Heuvelmann on bass, who has left his funk bass mark in the Rhine-Neckar region over the last three decades.
