The Famous Jazz Jam Session takes place every Wednesday at Jazzkeller Frankfurt. The concert begins at 9:00 PM. A jam session is a relatively informal music event where musicians play improvised solos and variations over melodies, chord progressions, and songs – jam sessions are an integral part of jazz.

Jazzkeller has been running the session regularly for more than 20 years and it is one of the best professional jazz jam sessions in Germany. Check-in is at 7:00 PM or later, Jazzkeller opens at 8:00 PM and the concert starts at 9:00 PM, after the opening band the regular session begins.
