Senase Trio
The siblings Natalia, Sebastián, and Sergio Castrillón from Manizales, Colombia, present with their Senase Trio a fascinating encounter of tradition and experiment. Harp, cellos, and voice merge into original compositions that weave Latin American folk with classical music and improvisation.
Natalia's innovative harp playing and expressive voice meet the virtuosic cello voices of Sebastián. Sergio, today a lecturer at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, brings multidisciplinary sound research. The trio combines deeply rooted cultural tradition with contemporary musical thinking – concretely in original compositions that permeate both worlds without subordinating one to the other.
At the concert, the trio presents its new Latin American program and simultaneously celebrates its Germany debut.
