
Latin Fever - Burgfestspiele Bad Vilbel
On Sunday, August 30, 2026, at 12 p.m., the historic Burg Bad Vilbel will turn into a stage for top-class big band jazz: the Landesjugendjazzorchester (LJJO) Hessen invites you to the concert “Latin Fever” — a summery jazz treat for the whole family.
Under the musical direction of Ed Partyka, an internationally sought-after conductor, composer, and trombonist, the Kicks & Sticks and Kicks-Voices of LJJO Hessen will present an energetic program full of fiery rhythms. Pieces including “Oclupaca” by Duke Ellington, “Con Alma” by Dizzy Gillespie, and “Nica’s Dream” by Horace Silvers will be performed. Look forward to these and many more Latin arrangements.
