Annika Chambers and Paul DesLauriers form a dynamic duo that combines raw emotion, powerful storytelling, and electrifying musicianship. The project unites deep blues roots, soulful R&B melodies, and raw rock riffs with live energy and passion. Annika Chambers, hailing from Houston, began her singing career in church and served 7½ years in the U.S. Army, where she discovered the blues. Her debut "Making My Mark" (2014) earned her a Blues Foundation nomination for Best New Artist; since then she has released multiple award-winning albums and won three Blues Music Awards for Soul Blues Female Artist of the Year (2019, 2022, 2024).
Paul DesLauriers from Cornwall, Ontario, began playing music at age five and has developed his own voice as a guitarist and performer. His solo and band work has earned him six Maple Blues Awards as well as second place at the International Blues Challenge 2016. The couple met in 2018 at the Orpheum Theatre in Memphis and are now happily married. Their previous album "Good Trouble" (2022) debuted at number 3 on the Billboard Blues Chart and won a Blues Blast Award for Soul Blues Album of the Year.
