Once again this year, the WG-Bigband Wild Groove, the pre-bigband Little Wild Groove, the WG rock bands, and some solo artists will be jazzing, rocking, and grooving in the Theaterstübchen!! And this time under the motto: "Crazy" – a journey through the last 11 years of pop and rock music at the WG and in the Theaterstübchen!! Following the very successful 2025 concert, the ensembles will showcase their skills and their new repertoire.

Under the professional guidance of various Kassel music professionals who served as coaches again this year (including Kathrin Roppel (vocals), Michael Linke (rhythm section), Nik Scherch and Emil Becker (brass and woodwinds)), numerous pieces from different genres were rehearsed and freshly revived. This evening, the WG-Bigband will present hits such as of course Crazy in Love, Runaway Baby, and This Is Me as well as classics like Pick Up the Pieces, Summertime, and Crazy Little Thing Called Love. The instrumentalists are supported by the brilliant voices of Leona Kübler, Aglea Tayedifar, Rijänna Kleußer, and Hanna Pauli.

The pre-bigband Little Wild Groove pays homage to heavy metal legend Ozzy Osbourne with Crazy Train and will get the Stübchen cooking.

Around the bigbands, as always, various other bands that have formed at the WG in recent years will gather: alongside some high-caliber solo artists, several rock bands under the direction of Kassel jazz musician Michael Linke will perform. They will present, among other things, The Perfect Wave by Juli and Easy Lover (Phil Collins) – party atmosphere guaranteed – you are cordially invited!!
