Latin Soul meets Classical Finesse.
Duo Elún – that’s Valentina Solis (double bass & charango) and Christian Leonardo Zack (guitar). The two combine South American passion with classical finesse, creating a sound that feels both familiar and fresh, deeply alive and full of color. Their music echoes the Andes, Buenos Aires, and Santiago, yet also draws from European chamber traditions, refined tone colors, and rhythmic sophistication.
With roots in Chile and Germany, Valentina and Christian craft music that transcends genres. Between Andean melodies, rhythmic journeys through Brazil and Argentina, and original compositions, they move freely between folklore, chamber music, and creative curiosity.
The rich depth of the double bass, the sparkling vitality of the charango, and the colorful textures of the guitar merge into an expressive dialogue – grooving, touching, and often surprising. Their pieces, whether original or arranged, reflect the musical diversity of Latin America and the duo’s shared joy of exploration.
Elún comes from the Mapuche word meaning “to give” – a fitting name for a duo that shares warmth, trust, and light through every performance. Their concerts are vibrant encounters filled with emotion, depth, and a sense of connection.
Duo Elún has performed at renowned festivals in Germany and Chile and is currently working on its first album, to be released at the end of 2025.
