The Bene Aperdannier Trio presents itself as a new force on the German jazz scene. After years of intensive collaboration with singers – from Lily Dahab to Joy Denalane to Lisa Bassenge – pianist and keyboarder Bene Aperdannier has deliberately turned to the instrumental trio format. In the Uckermark, he composed and arranged a program that realizes his artistic vision: a sonic cosmos between contemporary jazz, soul, and world music.

The trio combines Aperdannier's pianistic sensitivity with the colorful groove of drummer Bernd Oezsevim and the versatile sound palette of guitarist Christian Kögel. The music moves in a space between Miles Davis and Debussy, between Nils Frahm and Prince – dense, melodic, rhythmically precise. Following the premiere at the Rivertone Festival 2024 in Straubing in front of 800 audience members, a sold-out Berlin premiere and a ten-date tour in January 2026 followed, which was consistently met with standing ovations. The debut album was created in the legendary Hansa Studios Berlin.
