BIRDLAND BIGBAND "THAD JONES, COUNT BASIE & DUKE ELLINGTON"
The Birdland Bigband is Hamburg's resident bigband and brings the swing and bigband era to the stage. With 17 high-caliber musicians from the Hamburg jazz scene, the ensemble interprets the rarely performed works of Thad Jones, Duke Ellington, and Sammy Nestico – with respect for tradition and the courage to bring their own musical influences to bear.
