Nils Wülker's fifteenth album "Confidence" radiates life energy. The eleven original compositions, recorded in a quartet, close a circle and open new horizons, deliberately pushing the leader out of his comfort zone into a beautiful, new sonic world. For the first time since his debut in 2002, the ECHO Award winner has recorded with an international star lineup: on piano is Aaron Parks, on double bass Linda May Han Oh, on drums Greg Hutchison. The album's lineup will also be experienced live, as Nils Wülker will tour with Linda May Han Oh, Greg Hutchison, and initially, due to scheduling reasons, with none other than Omer Klein on piano.

Nils Wülker is a German jazz musician (trumpet, composition) and composer and producer. Over the last twenty years, Nils Wülker has become one of Europe's most successful jazz trumpeters and composers. In 2013, Wülker received the ECHO Jazz in the category "Instrumentalist of the Year national Brass Instruments." Wülker's personal sound is compelling and unmistakable, the result nonetheless surprising, equally contemporary as it is groundbreaking – and in its strong melodies and fabulous interplay full of confidence.
