A second-place ranking in the German jazz charts does not come out of nowhere, and more than 50 million streams do not happen by chance, especially in the genre of instrumental jazz. Now the Emil Brandqvist Trio is venturing down new paths: In spring 2025, the current album “Poems for Travellers” was released, whose songs sound at times moving, at times downright gripping and dynamic, often soloistic, and always catchy. With this, the Scandinavians are setting out on a major tour through Norway, Sweden, Austria, Switzerland, and Germany.
