On July 5, 2026, the Blues Night Session returns to the lakeside stage in Luisenpark and transforms the open-air venue into an atmospheric soundscape for blues, soul, and related styles. The successful series from the Ella & Louis jazz club deliberately uses the openness of the lakeside stage to combine music, nature, and summer evening into an intense live experience.

At the center are guitarist and singer Timo Gross and Christian Sommer, who together with selected guests stand for musical depth, a strong improvisational culture, and a vibrant, contemporary blues. The Blues Night is understood less as a classical concert and more as an open musical dialogue between stage and audience.

Special guest of the evening is Lukas Schüßler (LUKE). With over 15 years of stage experience and performances at international festivals, he combines blues, soul, rock, and pop into a distinctive sound with a clear focus on strong songs. Sandy Campos, a blues and soul singer with American roots, adds another accent: her powerful, expressive voice combines deep blues and soul with great emotional presence.
