Opener Band: Manfred Wex Trio // followed by the Jam Session // Jazz
In the opening set of the evening, the Manfred Wex Trio will provide the necessary warm-up with both evergreens from jazz history and their own songs. Afterwards, the session is open to everyone. So bring your instruments, sort out your sheet music, and perk up your ears. Jump in or listen, dance, drink, sing, or laugh – everything is eagerly anticipated and warmly welcomed. Every Monday from 8 p.m., the stage of the Hot Jazz Club transforms into a meeting place for music enthusiasts who love to experiment. The "Monday Night Session" at the Hot Jazz Club is where bands are born that have never existed before. With changing session openers from the regional scene, stylistically almost anything is possible between jazz, blues, hip hop, groove music, or funk.
