Jazz Kitchen presents: Bruno Bode Quartett
In the Bruno Bode Quartet, the boundaries between improvised music, contemporary classical, and avant-garde jazz blend seamlessly together. The four musicians explore complex rhythms, loops, and unusual forms that move between song-like tenderness and intense expressivity. The quartet works with self-composed material and free improvisations that relate thematically to the compositions. With each concert, a new direction is explored.
The debut album "Void" was released in 2025 on the Klaeng label. Jazzthing wrote about the music: "In his playing, spirituality and urbanity combine to create a promising, distinctive sound. Here a young voice asserts itself with vehemence, and we will surely hear much more from in the future."
