Following their celebrated performance at the last International Bach Festival Hamburg, the SPIIC+ Ensemble returns to the stage of the JazzHall. This time, inspired by the music of C.P.E. Bach (1714–1788), the ensemble embarks on the second leg of its musical journey of discovery through time and space. With great joy in playing and curiosity, the musicians explore the question of how tradition and modernity, past and avant-garde can interweave with each other today. Composition, improvisation, and performance merge into a living whole – open, surprising, and always in the moment.
