
Rory Ingham Sam Hogarth Quartet
Rory Ingham is an award-winning trombonist, educator, composer, and bandleader based in London, known for his dynamic versatility in jazz and entertainment music. He is the winner of the "Rising Star" category at the British Jazz Awards 2017 and was recognized as "One To Watch" in the Jazzwise column "Shape of Jazz To Come" in 2018. He has performed with internationally recognized musicians including Chris Potter, Dave Holland, Elliot Mason, Ingrid Jensen, Dennis Rollins, Newton Faulkner, Claire Martin, Alan Barnes, Liane Carroll, Dave Douglas, Evan Parker, and Dave Liebman.
Sam Hogarth is a conductor, composer, and pianist who regularly hosts jazz evenings titled "Sam Hogarth invites..." at Kakadu Bar Mainz. Since August 2014, he has been Kapellmeister (Generalmusikdirektor) at Staatstheater Mainz. Hogarth began playing jazz at age 13 and performed in a masterclass with Julian Joseph at age 15.
