For over 25 years, the Nighthawks have stood for cinematic soundscapes between jazz, rock, and sound art. What began as a studio duo has evolved into a five-member collective that convinces with unique interplay and individual voices. Their music is like a soundtrack for imaginary films – from nocturnal New York streets to shimmering desert landscapes.

The core of the band's sound is the sensitive trumpet of Reiner Winterschladen, supported by Jörg Lehnhardt on guitar, Jürgen Dahmen on Rhodes, Thomas Alkier on drums, and Dal Martino on bass. With their distinctive style – characterized by melody, groove, and sound consciousness – the Nighthawks have long since conquered international stages.
