Shalosh presents "What We Are Made Of" with their sixth album, which reflects the shared history of the trio, shaped by years of collaboration and extensive touring. The album combines original compositions with surprising interpretations of iconic rock and pop songs, moving between groove-based passages, more reflective moments, and sections of heightened intensity. Jazz functions here less as a stylistic framework than as an approach – open, physical, and adaptable – creating space for elements from rock, classical music, and popular music within a clearly defined trio setting.

The Israeli trio, consisting of three childhood friends, has refused to commit to a single genre over eleven years of activity, and has performed on some of the world's most prestigious stages, establishing itself as one of the leading young trios in the world. The last three albums were released on the renowned German label ACT, with which the band has become one of Europe's most active trios in recent years.
