The Barbara Amann Quintet stands for a high-caliber and entertaining mix of jazz, pop, blues, and tango. The Heidelberg saxophonist Barbara Amann has found a congenial rhythm section with Günter Hornung on piano, Christof Risch on bass, and drummer Olli Schmitz. The quintet is completed by singer Martina Buske. With inventive improvisations, the five musicians manage to turn even jazz abstainers into jazz fans.
