Werner Auer presents an evening-length program together with exceptional guitarist Bernhard Krinner that traces Johnny Cash's musical career from his first hits like "Hey Porter" and "Folsom Prison Blues" through evergreens like "Walk the Line" and "Ring of Fire" to his later works like "Personal Jesus" and "Hurt". Auer discovered his love for Johnny Cash's music while working on the musical THE MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET (2021/22), in which he portrayed the charismatic country singer.

Werner Auer was born on December 11, 1965 in Hollabrunn and is an Austrian intendant, musical theater performer, singer, director, cabaret artist, and moderator. For nearly four decades he has performed on stage as a singer and performer. After beginnings in rock music, he shifted his focus to musical and big band productions starting in 1997. Since 1999, Werner Auer has been intendant of the "Felsenbühne Staatz", where he also works as a musical theater performer, director, and set designer.
