Francesco Bearzatti Trio
Francesco Bearzatti is an Italian jazz saxophonist and clarinetist who graduated in clarinet from the Conservatory of Udine and completed his studies at Jazz Mobile in New York with George Coleman. His years in Paris mark a highlight of his career, where he forms a close friendship with the versatile jazz and rock drummer Aldo Romano. In 2003, Bearzatti receives the Best New Talent award from Top Jazz and is recognized in 2011 at the European level as Best Musician by the French Académie du Jazz, one of the most prestigious awards in the jazz world.
Bearzatti meets the virtuoso organist Emmanuel Bex and founds the Bizart Trio. He continues to lead the Bizart Trio with Paolino Dalla Porta on bass and Manu Roche on drums, as well as the Tinissima Quartet with Giovanni Falzone on trumpet, Danilo Gallo on bass, and Zeno De Rossi on drums. The musician from Udine never loses sight of new horizons and his projects are diverse – this ability to connect his work with a versatile and restless culture has caught the attention of the Académie du Jazz.
