Eldis La Rosa is a Cuban composer, multi-instrumentalist, and arranger who has lived in Vienna since 1997. He was born in 1969 in Santiago de Cuba and began his musical training at age seven in clarinet, saxophone, and percussion. With his quartet, he combines jazz, classical, and world music into a unique sound fusion.

Eldis La Rosa impresses equally on saxophone, flute, and Cuban percussion. His album "Tiptoe walking" was nominated in 2021 for the German Record Prize in the world music category. His genres include jazz, world music, crossover, Latin, and music for film and theater.
